Community Services members urged to track workload.
The Public Service Association of NSW (PSA) is holding lunchtime training sessions throughout NSW on using the Workload Planner for members employed in Child Protection.
“To assist you in setting boundaries and prioritise your workload, and to give you tools to say ‘No’ to work you simply do not have the hours to complete the PSA will be running Workload Planner Lunch & Learn sessions both in Community Service Centres and via Microsoft Teams,” said General Secretary Stewart Little.
“The current planner is easier to use than members may think. We urge them to put it into action because the fact remains, if it’s not measurable, it’s not manageable.
“The Workload Planner gives the PSA, and Managers Client Services, Directors and Executive District Directors, evidence to clearly demonstrate there are not enough workers to meet the workload.”
The next training sessions will be held at midday on 16 September 2025 in Liverpool Community Services Centre. However, members employed elsewhere can log in via Microsoft Teams.
