Well May We Say

Well May We Say

A podcast that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

While sometimes veering into a “three schooners in at the front bar” tone, complete with swearing, Well May We Say offers valuable insights into Australian and world politics.

Hosted by Jeremy Sear-Pirko, the podcast veers into topics as diverse as reasons Anthony Albanese should not meet with Donald Trump and how the trans debate reflects the history of homosexual rights in Australia. Often the subjects vary widely within single episodes.

However, in among the barroom chuckles are some incisive remarks. The podcast is scathing about the new Queensland state government and is not afraid to call out the behaviour of news organisations such as the ABC.

Earlier in 2025, the podcast gave an insightful look into the Greens’ loss of three seats, including that of party leader Adam Bandt (pictured), and the work the party did for public housing in the federal sphere.

There have been around 200 episodes, so the podcast is doing something right with its mix of humour and information. At around an hour an episode, Well May We Say requires an investment of your time. But it is well worth getting over the pub-style banter and making it a regular part of your podcast schedule.
