Union members urged to answer questions about their workplace.
The Public Service Association/Community and Public Sector Union NSW (PSA CPSU NSW) is surveying its members about violence in the workplace.
Surveys have been sent to all members, with those working in education and prisons given additional specific questions.
“Occupational violence is becoming an increasing concern amongst frontline workers across the state,” said the union’s President, Nicole Jess. “We are now advocating for members to have their say.
“All members are advised to complete the Respect and Protect survey. Survey results will provide evidence to enable a case for change.
“The PSA CPSU NSW is committed to addressing any workplace issues and establishing a safer, more respectful environment by reducing occupational violence.”
