Union operates stall at Mardi Gras event.
The PSA CPSU NSW was represented at the 2025 Mardi Gras Fair Day in Victoria Park, Sydney.
Fair Day is the opening event for the Sydney Mardi Gras, which celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community.
PSA CPSU NSW staff and members were on the Unions NSW stall for two hours, talking to attendees and even signing up members.
“A presence at Fair Day shows our members in the LGBTQIA+ community that we are here for them,” said PSA CPSU NSW President Nicole Jess, who was at the stall. “Equality is union business.”
The Public Service Association of NSW and Community and Public Sector Union (SPSF Group) NSW Branch acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands where we work and the places in which we live. We pay respect to Ancestors and Elders, past, present and future. We recognise the unique cultural and spiritual relationship and celebrate the contributions of first nations peoples to Australia.
