Protest takes place on Macquarie Street.
Public Service Association (PSA) members from the Art Gallery of NSW and their supporters continued their campaign against plans to cut 51 jobs.
Assistant General Secretary Troy Wright addressed the protest in front of State Parliament, with many members holding up signs demanding an end to what the union describes as an “Art Attack”.
Mr Wright said the budget cut used to justify the sackings was paltry compared to the amount spent on football stadiums by successive state governments.
Delegates Nik Rieth and Sharne Fielder also spoke, as did Industrial Manager Julie-Ann Bond.
The PSA has had meetings with the Minister and Gallery management to stop the job cuts.
