Government accused of underreporting consultant costs.
The NSW Auditor-General has accused state agencies of underreporting millions of dollars spent on private consultants.
“While public servants fight every single day for fair pay and proper resources, millions are getting quietly funneled out the door without real accountability,” said General Secretary Stewart Little. “They need to stop wasting public funds on expensive external contractors.
“It’s time to invest in permanent, secure public sector jobs. Stand up for public services.”
