The webinar will cover the role and legal obligations of managers under whistleblowing schemes in Australia, and how they can identify and appropriately handle disclosures from workers.

This webinar is available to members through PSA CPSU NSW’s e-learning platform, called DevelopU.

The course will cover the role of managers within whistleblowing schemes, their legal obligations, how to identify when a disclosure is being made, and how to respond to it.

It is presented by two representatives of the Human Rights Law Centre’s Whistleblower Project; Associate Legal Director Kieran Pender, and Lawyer Madeleine Howle.

The course is the third in a series of learning modules on whistleblowing for union members, officials, delegates, and anyone interested in policy and law reform, developed by the Whistleblower Project.
