Members have until Tuesday to sign forms.
The Public Service Association (PSA) has negotiated an extension for Parklea staff to sign contracts for their transition to Corrective Service NSW (CSNSW).
The MTC documentation provides two options for employees, to accept ongoing employment with MTC, or to resign from MTC where employment has been accepted with the CSNSW or another employer.
Members now have until 8 September 2026 to sign.
This staff transition follows the return of Parklea Correctional Centre to public control in October 2026. It was privatised in 2009.
