Parklea Gaol members Mark Ward and Brian Kirk have shared the 2023 Delegate of the Year award.
“Private gaols are a tough patch for Delegates,” said CPSU NSW Industrial Manager Thane Pearce. “Mark and Brian have been Delegates for more than 10 years, helping members through the transition from GEO to MTC, as well as recently being involved in what seems like endless negotiations over wages and conditions. “They have been steadfast in their support for their comrades at Parklea.
“They are worthy winners of the award.”
