The PSA continued its sponsorship of the Junee Diesels Reserve Grade Rugby League team.
When the local prison was transferred to Corrective Services NSW’s control, the PSA stepped in to sponsor the team, which had previously been supported by the private operator.
“By bringing the gaol into the public fold, the State Government is bringing more money into the community,” said Prison Officers Vocational Branch Chair Darren King. “And we are doing our bit, sponsoring the team and letting the people of Junee know we have their best interests at heart.”
