PSA to be consulted on changes.
EnergyCo has announced a restructure at a town hall meeting on Thursday 19 February 2026.
The Public Service Association (PSA), which represents workers at the agency, has been informed this proposed change is part of EnergyCo’s efforts to comply with the NSW Government direction to reduce the number of senior executives. While there are no proposed cuts to non-executive staff, the union understands approximately 30 staff will be realigned in the proposed structure.
“EnergyCo is aware of its obligations to consult meaningfully on organisational change,” said Industrial Manager Thane Pearce. “Consultation is open for a period of three weeks, and closes on Thursday 12 March.”
The PSA will be meeting with members about the changes on Tuesday 24 March 2026.
