The PSA LGBTQIA+ Council has held its first meeting and appointed its executive. The positions are: Chairperson Emma Pearce Assistant Chair Scott Perkins Secretary Dani Ray Assistant Secretary Ross Bennett
“The first meeting was a huge success, with each member of the group ready to improve the working lives of the LGBTQIA+ community,” said Communications Officer Glenn Duncan, who coordinated the committee. “Discussed were topics such as Gender Affirmation Leave, Domestic Violence within the LGBTQIA+ community, and health and safety issues.
“There are also plans for social nights such as movie evenings or trivia at PSA House. Members wanting to attend, or with any other suggestions can email us at [email protected].”
