PSA helps celebrate Firearms Registry

Gun-control body marks 50 years of service to the people of NSW.

The PSA was a part sponsor of the Firearms Registry’s 50th Anniversary Gala night.

Established in 1975, the Firearms Registry plays a very important role in ensuring the safety and regulation of firearms in NSW. The PSA represents the unsworn Police employees in the registry.

“These members are very dedicated and hardworking staff monitoring firearms possession and protecting the people of NSW,” said Assistant General Secretary Troy Wright, who attended the event with Organisers Kim Villanti, Rebecca Reilly and Mik Smart.

“Like so many of our members, if they did not go to work each day, NSW would be a far more dangerous place to live.

“Public services matter: and these members epitomise this ethos.”
