Union goes into bat for mental health.
PSA members at the Lithgow Correctional Centre held a Men’s Mental Health Day on Monday 9 March 2026.
The day was sponsored by the PSA along with sponsorship provided by the Australian Mutual Bank and Wagecover.
“The was an inaugural event to raise awareness to Men’s Mental Health with the event,” said Darren King, who chairs the Prison Officers Vocational Branch. “Hopefully we will expand it to involve all centres within the Western Region in the near future.”
