Racism Slammed At Union Rally

Protest affirms public services are for all, regardless of background.

The PSA CPSU NSW joined a rally in central Sydney organised by the NSW Nurses and Midwives Association to protest against racism in the Public Sector.

In the wake of two heath-care workers bragging they would not treat Israeli patients, the PSA CPSU NSW joined other unions in a commitment to assure people could depend on access to public services regardless of their background.

Speaking at the rally, PSA CPSU NSW Industrial Manager Nathan Bradshaw said unions are united on the subject of equality.
“Racism and hatred will not win out in the Public Sector,” he said.
