School members praised for their roles.
The Public Service Association’s (PSA’s) Schools Recognition Week commenced on 31 August 2026.
The week will celebrate the role played by the union’s members in schools. The PSA represents support staff, such as those running the office, School Learning Support Officers, General Assistants, Farm Assistants, Psychologists, Student Support Officers and Aboriginal Liaison Officers.
“This week gives us a chance to thank the people who do so much for our world-class public education system,” said PSA General Secretary Stewart Little.
The Public Service Association of NSW and Community and Public Sector Union (SPSF Group) NSW Branch acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands where we work and the places in which we live. We pay respect to Ancestors and Elders, past, present and future. We recognise the unique cultural and spiritual relationship and celebrate the contributions of first nations peoples to Australia.
