Thousands of PSA CPSU NSW members have better working lives thanks to the courses delivered to them by WHS Officer and Educator Suzanne Mathers.
Ms Mathers, who will retire from the union in July, joined the staff in 2005.
“I came in on a nine-week secondment from the Department of Education and never went back,” she said. “What I have liked about my job is empowering workers to help them understand their rights.
“You can never underestimate the collective strength of thousands of members working as one.”
