Unions from throughout the state, including the PSA CPSU NSW, gathered outside the offices of the Premier and Treasurer to protest against proposed changes to workers’ compensation protections.
The protest is in reaction to an announcement by the Treasurer, Daniel Mookhey, to restrict access to payments for mental and psychological trauma.
PSA CPSU NSW Assistant General Secretary Troy Wright is pictured talking to attendees. He was one of a number of speakers at the event.
There have been protests against the proposed changes throughout the state.
In addition, the PSA CPSU NSW entered a submission to a Parliamentary Enquiry into the changes. Mr Wright address the inquiry last week.
