Local media covers push to keep gaol wings open.
The Public Service Association (PSA) has received local coverage for its campaign to keep two wings open at Goulburn Correctional Centre (pictured).
Chair of the Prison Officers Vocational Branch (POVB), Darren King, has been interview by the Goulburn Post.
The State Government recently announced its intention to close two maximum-security wings of the gaol, with inmates to move to Junee and Clarence.
The PSA and POVB believe the wings should be instead modernised, which would avoid the disruption of having Officers move to different parts of NSW.
