Mr Roberts particularly noted the professionalism, dedication and integrity of a number of Special Constables, who liaised with Scotland Yard, as well as the upper and lower houses, during the royal visit.
The Constables mentioned were:
- Operations Supervisor Scott Pitt
- Operations Supervisor Justin Tamplin
- Senior Special Constable Simon Gilbert
- Senior Special Constable Christopher O’Brien
- Special Constable Sean Draper
- Special Constable Shannon Granger
- Special Constable Anthony Fitzgerald
- Special Constable Joshua Vinoya
- Special Constable Cade Mascherin
- Special Constable Jason Rees

Mr Roberts also asked the Upper House to recognise the continuing outstanding service that all Special Constables undertake daily, when they protect those who work at and visit Parliament House.
PSA General Secretary Stewart Little said it was heartening to hear praise for these Champions of the State.
“The PSA thanks Mr Roberts for recognising the outstanding work that our members undertake on a daily basis,” he said.
