Government contracts to get more scrutiny
The Public Service Association of NSW (PSA) has welcomed increased collaboration between the State Government and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to share tender data and information to find suspicious patterns that may point to collusion between companies bidding for public tenders.
“Too often outsourcing has seen taxpayers pay over the odds,” said PSA General Secretary Stewart Little. “We welcome recent announcements from the State Government on a retreat from excessive outsourcing.”
