Unsuitable cars and a welcome cash bonus on the agenda.
The Public Service Association’s (PSA’s) new Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development Departmental Committee had its first meeting on 13 May 2026 at PSA House, with some members joining remotely.
The agenda included discussions on fleet cars that are not fit for purpose. The meeting also discussed long-term temporary roles, which members claim are not really temporary, and the $1000 cost of living allowance that will be paid to members thanks to the PSA securing a special provision in its most recent three-year salaries agreement.
