A new arrangement gives PSA CPSU NSW members access to cheaper insurance for pets and vehicles.

The union has teamed up with Stella, an insurance company with a history of supporting social justice causes, to offer members better prices on insurance products. At present the cover is for pets and vehicles, but there are plans to extend the deal to include house and contents insurance.

The company has forged a reputation for focusing its products and operations to be more supportive to women.

“We feel this is an excellent arrangement,” said Manager Member Services Kym Ward. “Not only are we able to offer members great prices on what can be a major expenditure item, but we are doing it with a company we feel aligns with union values.

“Stella also supports a number of charities for women, including those combating domestic violence.”
