Union unhappy about lack of consultation.
The Public Service Association (PSA) has raised a formal dispute with the Department of Communities and Justice, Child Protection and Practice about the current system reform restructure being undertaken.
As part of the dispute, members have been told the status quo is to remain and no further steps should be taken to progress the changes proposed in the Staff Placement Plan.
“While the changes may be designed to improve Child Protection and support Out of Home Care, feedback and input from those of you doing the work needs to be genuinely considered and listened to,” said the union in a bulletin to members.
