TAFE members look to 2026

TAFE members look to 2026

With an Enterprise Agreement done, members move onto new issues.

The CPSU NSW will restart regular meetings with TAFE NSW management now the Enterprise Agreements covering members have been finalised.

The Interest-Based Consultation Committee (IBCC) meetings, like the Joint Consultative Committee meetings held in the Public Sector, will be held to discuss the collective concerns of CPSU NSW members at the vocational training provider.

The meetings will take place every two months and will involve union representatives and management.

The union will be asking for reports on workforce data, including vacancies, temporary engagements and contractors, Work Health and Safety incidents, Workers Compensation numbers, sexual harassment reports, restructures and change management processes and how Government policies like the Core Work Policy might impact TAFE NSW.

Issues of concern to our members and delegates will be brought to the IBCC so that we can work constructively on resolving them.

“After years of neglect from the previous Coalition Government, there is much to be done to ensure TAFE NSW remains the pre-eminent vocational education provider in NSW,” said Industrial Manager Siobhan Callinan. “We hope these regular meetings will ensure TAFE remains on an upward trajectory and that our members are consulted along the way.”
